“Integral” means the guard, bolster, and blade are one continuous piece of steel rather than a blade with separately fitted hardware — we start from an oversized Raindrop Damascus billet and remove everything that isn’t the finished knife, rather than building the knife up from parts. It’s slower and wastes more steel than a standard tang-and-guard build, which is the honest reason this is our one collector-tier piece rather than a standard catalogue item.
Double-edged with a symmetrical hollow grind on both sides, which puts real demands on keeping the raindrop pattern centered and even across both faces during grinding — an off-center grind on a single-edge knife is a cosmetic problem, but on a symmetrical dagger it’s immediately visible as a mismatched pattern between the two sides. Stabilized black walnut handle scales, pinned directly through the integral tang.
